The Jane Fonda Center understands that cross-culturally around the world young people have similar needs for explanations, reassurance, and guidance as they go through the physical and emotional changes associated with puberty. Although social expectations and mores vary, what is learned about helping youth at this time of transition may have global as well as local applications.
