BEHIND OUR TRAINING

We Work With Others
The Jane Fonda Center works with others to identify needs for training. A recent example is our partnership with Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
An objective of the Jane Fonda Center is to support the development of healthy adolescents by providing education and training to those dedicated to working with youth. By giving people up-to-date knowledge and skills, the Center can help shape community attitudes and actions in a positive way.
TRAINING SCOPE
Education and training programs are wide-ranging and varied, focusing on topics such as:
- training facilitators to teach self-empowerment and parenting skills
- providing physicians and other medical providers with the skills to offer reproductive health services to adolescents
- providing physicians and nurse practitioners with the skills to diagnose and treat physical and sexual abuse
- training teachers and other school personnel to provide abstinence and media literacy education to young people
